Decision Lab / fictional example
Flexible Load Lab
Compare avoided event energy costs with restoration costs under an explicit shifting-efficiency assumption.
Your scenario

Model boundary
A constant event load and fixed prices. Restoration energy = shifted energy divided by efficiency. Events are equivalent and non-overlapping. Total event hours cannot exceed 8,760 per year. Recovery timing and capacity are not modelled. Excludes capital costs, demand charges, network fees, taxes, degradation and service payments. Results are not an equipment or dispatch design.
